In Starfield, you can meet other characters who aren't controlled by real players (they're computer characters). Some of them can join your group, help you fight, carry things for you, and chat with you. What's cool is that the things they say can change based on what you do in the game.

When you start playing, you can make your own character by choosing how they look and some things about their background and skills. These skills can make the game easier or harder, and you can change or remove them as you play.

As you play the game and do different things, you get better at them and earn points to unlock new abilities. There are five groups of skills you can get better at: things like being strong, talking to people, fighting, being smart, and using technology.

In the game, you're not just exploring planets; you can build things like outposts and research stuff. Outposts are like homes you can make on different planets to collect things, and labs help you make better stuff. You can even customize your own spaceship, changing parts of it, and its color, and adding cool things like decorations and weapons.

Starfield is a game that takes you to a big area called the Settled Systems, which is far away, about 50 light-years from our own Solar System. In the game's story, there was a big fight between two groups, the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective, in the year 2310. It was really bad and messed up the whole galaxy. Now, 20 years later, things are still not great, but they're not fighting anymore. They're just trying to keep things calm.
